Do you take insurance?
I'm currently working on becoming credentialed with Regence and Premera. In the meantime, I offer superbills upon request — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
It depends on your insurance plan. Some plans require a referral from your child's pediatrician for occupational therapy services to be covered, and others do not. We recommend calling your insurance to confirm before your first visit.
What is client-driven therapy?
Client-driven therapy means we follow your child's interests, energy, and pace during sessions, while gently supporting growth and skill-building. Rather than a rigid plan, we incorporate each child's unique strengths and preferences into how we develop skills and overcome challenges — so sessions stay engaging, comfortable, and led by the child rather than the clock.
What is expected of the parent during services?
Caregivers are a vital part of our work together. We partner closely with families to share what we're working on, suggest realistic strategies for home, and support carryover into daily life. Depending on your child and the situation, you may join sessions, observe, or step out — we'll figure out what works best for your family.
My child has a current evaluation. Do I need another one?
If your child has had an occupational therapy evaluation within the past year, we may be able to use it. Bring it with you and we'll determine together whether a new evaluation is needed or if we can build on the existing assessment.
What does "strengths-based" mean?
A strengths-based approach focuses on what each child can do, rather than what they can't. We work to incorporate each child's unique strengths and client-driven activities into how we develop skills and overcome challenges.
How do I get started?
Reach out through our contact page, share a bit about your child, and we'll be in touch within 24–48 hours to talk through next steps.
